Our Story
It all started on the side of a road in Keystone Heights, where I operated for two years. When the property owner informed me he needed the space for another purpose, I relocated to Melrose, Florida, while simultaneously building my business in Keystone.
As a single parent, I balanced fishing, driving, and raising my child while landing contracts with several supermarkets and restaurants, both here in Florida and up north. However, when COVID-19 hit, restaurants closed, and I faced uncertainty. Stretched thin, I had to let some things go due to the closures.
But I regrouped with the resources I had left and moved forward by building a food trailer to keep the business alive. Now, with a dedicated team, we continue to push forward, offering the best seafood products in Florida. As part of the Fresh from Florida program, Destiny Fish strives for perfection in every dish we prepare.
Today, we proudly offer the freshest and steamed seafood at great prices. Our journey of never giving up is what makes Destiny Fish stand out.

Our Vision
Fourteen years ago, my mom was diagnosed with kidney disease. This life-changing event led me to investigate where our food comes from, and I was horrified by the results. Determined to make a change, I turned to the waters and discovered the best place to source fish: right here in America, thanks to the strict regulations that ensure quality and safety. Unlike other countries, the U.S. has rigorous standards that protect consumers.
Through conversations with my mom’s kidney doctor, I learned about the importance of protein and salt intake for health. This knowledge inspired me to share what I learned with the community. For the past 13 years, I’ve been selling USA-caught seafood, ensuring it’s the freshest and healthiest option available.
Over time, understanding the entire process of sourcing and preparing seafood became a passion. Now, we proudly process and offer the best seafood in our area.

- Front of House: Two managers handle customer orders and ensure smooth operations.
- Back of House: I personally oversee the boats, working alongside deckhands to ensure the freshest catch.
